When using the Local Configuration Console, a standard 9-way modem serial

cable is required for connection of the IRIS Dialler to a lap-top.

For the IRIS 850, the GSM SIM card can be obtained from the chosen GSM

network operator. Note that a SIM card offering both GSM and GPRS calls is

required to enable the full functionality of the IRIS 850.
